The InStride Health logo appears in the bottom left corner.

Avoidant-Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) is a complex eating disorder that can significantly disrupt the lives of children, teens, and young adults. In this webinar, InStride Health team members Emily LeDonne, PhD, and Brian Richter, PhD, will provide a deep dive into recognizing the symptoms and subtypes of ARFID.

Attendees will learn about the "Cycle of ARFID," common thinking traps, and evidence-based treatment strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with exposures. Through detailed case studies and practical tools like food chaining and mealtime games, the presenters will demonstrate how "surround sound" care—coordinating between families, medical providers, and schools—can effectively help young people expand their diet and reduce impairment.

This webinar is specifically designed for providers, mental health professionals, and school personnel seeking to expand their knowledge and tools in addressing ARFID.
