Covered by Insurance, Accessible for Families

Insurance shouldn't be the reason a referral doesn't move forward. Our team will work with your patient to confirm their plan and coverage.
And many more insurance plans accepted.

Built by Clinicians Who Saw What Was Missing

InStride exists because evidence-based care for anxiety and OCD in young people was hard to access and even harder to scale.

Practice makes progress

InStride was founded by clinicians from Harvard-affiliated McLean Hospital who found a way to deliver evidence-based, specialist-level care for anxiety and OCD at scale, so more young people and families could access treatment that works, wherever they are.

  • 97% of graduates experience clinical improvement*
  • 85% experience "very much" or "much" improvement as measured by the Clinical Global Impression scale*

Simple to Refer, Outcomes That Last a Lifetime

One short form is all it takes. Families speak with a clinician within days of referral, and our team supports them from application through the start of care.

1

Submit a referral

Patient name, contact information, and primary reason for referral. That's it from your end.

2

We contact the family

Our team reaches out to the family as soon as we have their information, walks them through the program, and begins the insurance and evaluation process.

3

Treatment begins. You stay informed.

Your patient is matched with a 3-person dedicated care team and typically starts within 1 to 4 weeks, depending on family availability. You receive updates throughout treatment and a clinical summary at discharge.

Not sure if your patient is the right fit?
Refer them anyway. Our team handles the evaluation and will tell you if InStride is the right fit. You can also reach out to your Territory Manager to discuss fit before referring.

Expert Support for Your Patient

InStride's individualized care model pairs each young person with a dedicated 3-person team focused on building the skills to get back to the things they love. The treatment is structured, evidence-based, and grounded in CBT with an emphasis on exposure therapy.

“InStride truly goes above and beyond to ensure that all aspects of patient care are addressed.”

“InStride’s provision of innovative evidence-based care has allowed us to work efficiently and collaboratively in the treatment of children and adolescents struggling with anxiety and OCD as well as complex medical presentations. I've referred many patients to InStride because of this. Their unique approach results in excellent patient outcomes and high levels of patient satisfaction.”

Manuela Villa, PhD
Psychologist at Boston Children’s Hospital

“The outcome was far better than I could have imagined.”

“As a therapist one of the most difficult calls is when a dear friend is in crisis, especially when it’s their child. You know there is limited availability and long waitlists. I gave my friend a long list of options but put InStride at the top of the list given the complexity of the situation. The InStride team responded to my friend immediately, thoughtfully guided the family throughout the process, and started treatment quickly. My friend's on a profoundly better path. Thanks InStride!”

Plus icon

No. Our team completes a full evaluation after you refer and will determine whether InStride is the right fit and will create a personalized program based on patient needs.
